The 2008 Annual OW 200Club Draw for £250 took place in front of the masses attending the OW Club Dinner on Saturday 13th September.The lucky number, drawn by the Chairman's Lady, Gail Halls, turned out to be owned by Ron Ward. Well done, Ron! Sadly, Ron, who is now getting on in years, didn't exactly sprint to the bar to celebrate by buying everyone a drink, but muttered something to the effect that "it would come in handy to pay his heating bills this winter after that miserable excuse for a Prime Minister, Gordon Brown ( still the Chancellor), failed to give him any further assistance for the upcoming winter period"! |
