Firstly apologies from the organisers for the slight delay. The organisers ( namely our Chairman) got so carried away with his duties on the day of theOW Dinner, that he forgot to put the draw tokens for the big Annual Prize in his pocket along with his speech before leaving home. I will add that what you are now about to read below is a true reflection of what happened when the draw finally took place during the OW Committee Meeting of Monday 7th December. The funeral will take place on Friday 11th December at Edmonton Ceremony, Church Road, Edmonton, Nrth London, N9 9HP at noon. Family flowers only. Donations to Cancer Research. |

Sadly, another of our elderly Life Members has passed away. Malcolm McSorley died in the early hours of Saturday 28th November whilst being looked after in an East Sussex Rest Home. He was 82 years of age. His funeral will take place on Tuesday 8th November at Eastbourne Crematorium, Hide Hollow, Langney, East Sussex BN23 8AE at 1515hrs. Members attending are welcome to attend at the Landsowne Hotel, Edwards Parade, Eastbourne afterwards ( Please inform Ian Baker, 01634 402106 if you intend to do so). Donations can be sent to his wife Joyce (4 Colville Court, 20 Selwyn Road, Eastbourne, BN21 2NP) who intends to collect them and make a presentation to the Care Home as a token of her gratitude for the care he received whilst in residence.
