The Old Williamsonian Club - Rugby Club Dinner

The Old Williamsonian Club Cricket blasts off Our OWCC cricketers have started their season on a high note. In a friendly "1st XI" fixture, Luke Butcher, Sean Holbrook and James Whitnell all retired having completed half-centuries in a total of 271 for 9 off their allotted 40 overs. Rainham were soon in trouble as both Phil Patterson and Jimmy Masters took two quick wickets apiece and they settled for some batting practice in reaching 148 for 7. New boy, Hugo Parnell managed to get off on the wrong foot running out captain, Jon Child!He did make up for it with his bowling though.Both our Under 13 and Under 15 Colts won their opening fixtures against Blue Bell Hill. Callum Swift retired in the U13s having reached 25 but the Sunday star was definitely Harry Stanford in the U15s who scored 60 and then took 4 wickets including a hat-trick!!Nets are held at the School on Mondays commencing at 1800hrs for the U13s with U15s and U17s and seniors commencing from @1900hrs.
