The Old Williamsonian Club      Cricket blasts off Our OWCC cricketers have started their season on a high note. In a friendly "1st XI" fixture, Luke Butcher, Sean Holbrook and James Whitnell all retired having completed half-centuries in a total of 271 for 9 off their allotted 40 overs. Rainham were soon in trouble as both Phil Patterson and Jimmy Masters took two quick wickets apiece and they settled for some batting practice in reaching 148 for 7. New boy, Hugo Parnell managed to get off on the wrong foot running out captain, Jon Child!He did make up for it with his bowling though.Both our Under 13 and Under 15 Colts won their opening fixtures against Blue Bell Hill. Callum Swift retired in the U13s having reached 25 but the Sunday star was definitely Harry Stanford in the U15s who scored 60 and then took 4 wickets including a hat-trick!!Nets are held at the School on Mondays commencing at 1800hrs for the U13s with U15s and U17s and seniors commencing from @1900hrs.   Details...

Our OWCC cricketers have started their season on a high note. In a friendly "1st XI" fixture, Luke Butcher, Sean Holbrook and James Whitnell all retired having completed half-centuries in a total of 271 for 9 off their allotted 40 overs. Hockey Boys Gain Promotion

The OW  Hockey Mens 1st XI sealed promotion in a tense tussle at the School today winning their final game 2-1. WELL DONE!!

OW AGM Outcomes

The 111th Annual General Meeting of the Old Williamsonian Club was held on Wednsday 21st March 2010.

The following changes occured to Club Officials:

Matthew Clemens-Lary was voted onto the OW Committee representing the OW Rugby Club.

Jamie Collins (Rugby) and Andy Wood (Cricket) resigned their posts.

Richard Dalton will relinquish his post of Bar Secretary after the OW Dinner in September. The post will then be taken over by Chris Halls.

All other officials remained in post. Club Officials can be viewed on the "Club Officials" link on this site.

The Chairman and the Committee would like to thank both Jamie and Andy for their services and extend a warm welcome to Matthew on taking up his post.
